Basic Ways of Cheer

A tool is required to cheer. To tell the truth, even if there is no tool, although we can cheer, it is insufficient for encouraging a player. What kind of tool do cheering teams use when they cheer? I want to talk about these this time. It seems that these are accepted by aid of a sport on the whole. Although baseball is mentioned as an example, I want you to read the following texts with the view which is not bound by cheering style of baseball.

As the last column shows, it is the beginning of cheer that a spectator began to perform a trumpet. The cheer using a trumpet spreads and a drum and a whistle came to be used gradually. There was a professional baseball team whose cheering is using only a drum or the whistle without using a trumpet. Why did such a thing happen? It is because each of cheering team wanted to adopt the special feature. It is not interesting even if all the professional baseball teams do same cheering. As it is, cheering teams devised and tried to make the special feature. There are professional baseball teams which stopped use of the trumpet for another reason. A reason is a noise problem. When a ballpark is surrounded by many residences, the sound of cheering will sound in the residential area of night, and will make you trouble. Even now there are ballparks which forbid using musical instruments for cheering.

Now, the device of cheering was described. In order to heap up cheering, there are professional baseball teams which prepared the brass band. They are the Chiba Lotte Marines and Hankyu Braves. The Chiba Lotte Marines invited the brass band of the Narashino high school for cheering together. Why did the Narashino high school take over this request? Of course, the player who belongs to the Chiba Lotte Marines was concerned. The player's name is FUKUURA Kazuya. After graduating from the Narashino high school, he became the player of the Chiba Lotte Marines. He is still working as a professional baseball player. FUKUURA Kazuya is from the Narashino high school, location of the Narashino high school and the headquarters of the Chiba Lotte Marines are the same which is Chiba, and the brass band of the Narashino high school is nationally famous. The cheering team of the Chiba Lotte Marines decided to invite the brass band of the Narashino high school for reasons of these.

Hankyu Braves invited the brass band of Hankyu Department Stores and cheered together. The Hankyu Department Stores brass band is a famous brass band, and they are a regular of the all Japan music contest.

Two brass bands which described above played cheer songs which charms a spectator. Although such a thing is not performed these days, I would like to hear it once again very much. In professional baseball, the plan of playing a game whose players wear a reproduction uniform performed sometimes. When this plan is performed, a cheering team may have played old favorite cheer songs. I would like you to hear it.
